How it works

From a question to an answer you can check

Ask the way you'd ask a friend. When it matters, one tap shows you where the answer came from and how far to trust it.

  1. 1

    Ask

Type, talk, or attach a document or photo. No special phrasing needed.

  2. 2

    Get a straight answer

Telli 5 answers first, then explains. It says what's known, what's an estimate, and what it doesn't know.

  3. 3

    Tap Evidence

Telli 5 searches research databases and the web, grades each source, and sets aside copies of the same story.

  4. 4

    See it checked

Two separate AI checkers compare each cited sentence with its source. Then Telli 5 scores the answer.

Honest about what holds up

Evidence doesn't just decorate an answer with links. Each cited sentence gets its own result, so you can see which parts are well supported and which aren't.

When the sources don't cover a question, Telli 5 says so rather than filling the gap.

How the Reliability Factor works
Evidence · claim by claim
“Most studies find lifetime emissions are lower for electric cars.” [1][2]Supported
“The gap depends mostly on how local electricity is made.” [1]Partly supported
“Battery recycling removes the difference entirely.” [3]Not supported

Source [3] is an opinion blog. It is shown as opinion and counts for little in the score. Illustrative example

What Telli 5 weighs when it grades a source

Who published itA peer-reviewed study, a government agency, a news outlet or a forum post each carry different weight.
Whether it's independentTen articles repeating one press release are one source, not ten.
Fact or opinionReddit threads, blogs and reviews are labelled as opinion, never presented as fact.
Who might gainWhere a source looks influenced by someone with a stake in the answer, Telli 5 treats it with caution or leaves it out.
Where sources come from Free, public information first Telli 5 draws on open research databases such as OpenAlex and Europe PMC, plus reputable sites on the open web. Licensed journals and guidelines are planned as a later layer.
Coming later Dive In A deeper look at a single answer when you need more than a quick check. You'll always see what it costs and what it sends before it runs.
